'Let's Mingle in the Dingle'

Bakewell Street Park is situated in the Westend district of Stoke-on-Trent between two main roads, London Road and Trent Valley Road. It is a small park created in 1908 as a private park for Bowling and Tennis.

For probably the last fifteen years the park has been neglected. The city council having no funds themselves to restore/regenerate or do the necessary repairs to paths etc. our group have taken on the task with the blessing of both the City Council and local residents.

Our aim is to create a Community Park for the area which will have something for all ages and encourage ‘the family’ to be a welcome asset to its future plans and activities.

On this site you will find information which we hope will interest you. We hope to add more as developments progress but if you have any comments, ideas or offers of help we would be delighted to hear from you.
